White Water Rafting:

The river in Imst is the best rafting in the Tyrol region. Your rafting guide will show you how to swim and paddle in the white water. As a team you then paddle down the 17Km stretch of the Imst. The river is a grade 3 - 4 on the difficulty scale of 6. It is an ideal trip for people that are not afraid of the water and are looking for some excitement. The river offers enough time to catch your breath and take in the beautiful alpine scenery. Rafting is a civilized sport in Austria with changing rooms and showers where you can warm up before enjoying some lunch in a riverside cafe. We normally leave about 9am and return to the hotel at 3pm...
