into the Christmas Spirit with a week in Fuegen before Christmas
day comes around:
Austrians celebrate Christmas in a traditional
festive way. With every village organizing it’s own
Christmas Market, the streets decorated with Christmas lights
and the snow-covered rooftops of the church and houses. You
will find yourself in a typical Christmas-card scene. You
will have plenty of opportunity to soak up this festive atmosphere
- enjoy hearing Christmas carols, drinking hot mulled wine,
eating chestnuts roasted over an open fire and of course doing
a bit of last-minute Christmas shopping!

Tyrol. It is famous for it’s crystal and glassware. There
are pretty cobbled streets lined with shops selling glassware,
other crafts and souvenirs. Stop for a coffee & cake on

and castle, set in beautiful grounds. (Depart 3pm) |

Crystal Worlds – See the home of Swarowski Crystal, with
an amazing display of art made from Crystal - and a chance to

walk to Marienberg Church for Christmas Carol Concert, with
gluwein and biscuits afterwards. (After dinner) |

to see the famous Nativity scene (crib) at the church in Fugen
and a visit to the local museum, showing how the world famous
Rainer Singers from Fuegen carried the Christmas Carol “Silent
Night” around the world. (Depart 4pm) |
