Year - Skiing Holidays in Austria:
Celebrate New Year's Eve in Austria with Gala Dinners
and Fireworks. This is the most popular ski holiday weekend
of the year. The skiing is open throughout the week as
normal, so you can enjoy a very quiet morning on the pistes
on New Year's day if you so choose, or alternatively many
of the hotels offer a relaxed breakfast brunch until midday.

NEW YEARS EVE is the main celebration,
Gala Dinners at the hotels start this
very special evening. By midnight everyone
is ready to let off the fireworks,
pop the champagne and let the party
begin! Find a good vantage point on
the side of the mountain and watch
fireworks going off all along the valley.
- THE DAY AFTER! Most hotels have breakfast
running until midday, for those who spent
the night partying.
- NEW YEARS DAY is very quiet on the Piste
for some reason!
- FIREWORKS At 6pm the village holds
an official firework display. You can
buy mulled wine or hot chocolate and
cake from the stalls to warm you whilst
you watch the display. |
