Driving to Austria:
Driving to Fugen takes about 10 hours from Calais and
is an easy drive almost completely by motorway, with no
mountain roads. Fugen is situated only 10 minutes from
the motorway junction "Zillertal- Achental"
at Wiesing. There is plenty of free parking in Fugen,
with most of the hotels having their own car parking areas.
Staying at the Hotel Waldfriede is recommended, as the
hotel has underground parking, so there is no need to
scrape the windows and shovel snow on winter mornings!
