The
biggest celebration of the year in Austria, New
Year sees the Gala Dinners, Parties and Firework
Displays, making for a very memorable family
holiday. The ski areas are open every day as
usual, so you can enjoy the skiing during the
day and the fireworks in the evenings.

NEW YEARS EVE is the main celebration,
Gala Dinners at the hotels start
this very special evening. By
midnight everyone is ready to
let off the fireworks, pop the
champagne and let the party begin!
Find a good vantage point on
the side of the mountain and
watch fireworks going off all
along the valley.
- THE DAY AFTER! Most hotels have breakfast
running until midday, for those who
spent the night partying.
- NEW YEARS DAY is very quiet on the
Piste for some reason!
- FIREWORKS At 6pm the village holds
an official firework display. You can
buy mulled wine or hot chocolate from
the stalls to warm you whilst you watch
the display.
- CHILDRENS SKI LESSONS - Lessons run
exclusively for Redpoint guests in
groups of up to 8 children with English
instructors during school holiday weeks. |
