    Charity Ski Challenge Week 2016
    9th – 16th Jan 2016 from £842
For our 20th Anniversary, how better to celebrate then by bringing back the infamous Redpoint Ski Challenge to ski all 506km in the Ziller Valley in just 6 days?
This year we are also supporting Disability Snowsports UK by making it a fund raising event.
Ski and Spa WeeksIncludes: 6 days of guided skiing and transportation to the ski areas, 7 nights sharing a double or twin room at the four star Hotel Bruno with buffet breakfasts and four course evening meals, Flights from London Heathrow to Munich and Airport Transfers are included when you book your flights with us arriving at our regular times.
To join the trip, you must pledge to raise a minimum of £506 (£1 per km to match the 506km of pistes that you will cover to complete the challenge) to support Disability Snowsports UK. Full details will be sent to you at time of booking.
Challenge yourself to ski all the runs in the Ziller Valley (over 500 kms of pistes) in one week! This is an ideal holiday for keen skiers, who want to ski all day, every day, be up on the first lift and down as the lifts close. It is intensive, but you will find yourself with a group of skiers with the same goal and a really fabulous team spirit develops over the week.

  • The week includes six days of Guided Skiing (from Sunday to Friday). Your guide will pick you up by minibus from your hotel and show you around the different areas in the valley, starting with Hochfugen and Hochzillertal, then skiing Zell am Ziller/Gerlos and Konigsleiten, moving on to Mayrhofen, then the Hintertux Glacier and Eggalm. We save the smaller ski areas to the end of the week, when the legs are aching, and finish off by skiing the Ahorn, Hainzenberg and Spieljoch.

  • There is usually a fun, informal group atmosphere where everyone gets along because they have the same goal to achieve and all want to make the most of the day's skiing. We do not take it too seriously, however and safety is a consideration, so there may be times when it may be possible to avoid the most difficult runs if you don't feel up to it, or stop off for a break and catch up with everyone later if you are tired.

  • Accommodation is at the friendly Hotel Bruno and the challenge week group are seated together at mealtimes. The cosy bar is a great place for a social drink and there is the chance to join in a range of optional evening activities.
  • Ski Level:
For everybody’s skiing enjoyment, you must be able to ski red runs confidently and black runs safely to join the challenge - your guide has the right to stop you from participating if you can’t.
